The purpose of this course is to provide trainees with a comprehensive understanding of Aircraft Maintenance Management. It is essential for aircraft maintenance planners, engineers, including certifying staff, and continuing airworthiness monitoring engineers to grasp aircraft maintenance and airworthiness requirements to apply them correctly while adhering to all applicable rules and regulations.

This course is designed to offer trainees an in-depth understanding of the origins and development of aircraft maintenance programs, as well as the various roles, processes, and procedures involved in maintaining an aircraft’s airworthiness throughout its operational life.

  4. Development of an approved maintenance programme (AMP);
    1. Introduction
    2. Maintenance Programmes Evolution from MSG1 to MSG3

    4. Airworthiness Limitation Items (ALIs)
    5. Maintenance Planning Document (MPD)
    6. Additional Requirements
    7. ETOPS / EDTO Operations

    • The trainees shall be able to outline EASA Part-66 requirements and the role of Certifying Staff;
    • The trainees shall have an understanding of the concepts related to the Aircraft Technical Logbook;
    • The trainees shall have an understanding of the concepts related to Aircraft Maintenance programme development and implementation;
    • The trainees shall know all the requirements related to Airworthiness Directives and Airworhtiness Limitation Items;
    • The trainees shall know all the requirements related to Life Limited Parts and Hard Time Components;
    • The trainees shall have an understanding of the roles of Part-CAMO and Part-145 organisation in the context of continuing airworthiness;
    • The trainees shall know what is required to plan and implement aircraft maintenance requirements;
